Listen to the reviews people. SAVE your money! Not even looking at Ryan makes this one worthwhile. You've been warned. I should have listened to all those reviews I read before going!
Great movie.
Fabulous movie..Shot like an 'Art' piece..Gosling is amazing in this movie...caring, intelligent and emotionally remote..or borerline psychopath? Carrie Mulligan plays her role as the isolated angelic, young mother and wife to perfection..Albert Brooks is surpisingly frightening and believeable in this uncharacteristic role..A great movie!
Terrible movie complete waste of time.Almost fell asleep and I never do.
Drive is a great movie. The problem is the marketing of the movie - it is not another version of 'The Transporter" or "The Italian Job". It is a character driven movie, with some violent scenes to add affect. If you go in there wanting to see non-stop action then it is not the movie for you. But, from a storytelling standpoint, it is amazing.
One of the best movies I've seen in recent years. The tone and buildup were fantastic. Obviously the reviews against it like brainless crap like Bruckheimer shells out.
The worst movie I have ever seen! Everyone knows me to appreciate every film, and I really tried but it sucked so bad that I actually searched the reviews after. Can't stand ppl trying to act artistic n saying it's good. The direction failed! There was 1 good chase seen. Do not promo it as a wild getaway driver plot with crazy chase scenes. All gr was doing was driving around at night like a creep. They weren't even talking. Real akward! I appreciate "films" as well and this my artistic friends failed. I felt like killing myself.
outstanding...adn art film and an action film meshed into one....great movie!!
If you're looking for The Fast And The Furious I suggest you stay at home and watch that instead... If you enjoyed No Country For Old Men and its style of story telling then Drive is a must see. Brilliant film making.
Darn. HATED IT! It's official: I hate the last two movies that Ryan Gosling has recently starred in even though I love him. Sigh...
