goku is white???
wicked movie... don't know what everyone is complaining about... besides leaving out krillin they did a good job keeping as close to the story as they could... if you don't like it you have a closed mind and won't accept any other than the cartoon which is sad... go with an open mind and its a really good movie, funny, good SFX, decent fighting
I never watched Dragonball, and I enjoyed this movie. I'd probably rank it with DOA: Dead Or Alive, which I enjoyed quite thoroughly. I DO watch other animes though, and I wish people would understand that one great thing in print does NOT equal a great movie. They almost ALWAYS have to change it from source to screen because of time-constraints. I look forward to the Blu-Ray, and the sequel. 3-stars
One of the worst movies I've ever seen. I am giving it a 2 stars because Chow-Yeon-Fat is in this movie, but he still cannot save this movie from being a terrible one. Please save your money. Don't even rent it on DVD when it comes out.
My god this tragedy should be ignored. Perhaps if no one goes to see it they will quickly dump it into the trash bin. I mean why bother calling it Dragonball if you just feel like butchering the entire story? They couldn't have done a worse job if they tried. Please don't go to see this, we shouldn't encourage bad films to be made.
TOTALLY SUPRISED WITH THIS MOVIE!! I read all the negative reviews and expected nothing but to be disappointed but that couldn't be further from what I felt after seeing it. Good movie, but if you're not familiar with the dragonball series you'll be very confused by some parts of the story. I've watched Dragonball since I was a kid and I really can't wait to see a sequel. Just wish the story wasn't so rushed
understanding the moral is this movie's key sucess
Here's my amazingly long review: Please read it, I think it will definitely help. *WARNING: SOME MILD SPOILERS* Dragon Ball: Evolution Movie Review Dragon Ball: Evolution is a great film to see on your own, or to see with the family. It has a little something for everyone. Humor for the kids, action for the teens, romance for the moms, and lots of cleavage for the dads. There were some issues the hardcore fans were not happy with because of “lack of faithfulness” to the original story. But, other than some things here and there, Dragon ball: Evolution is a good homage and follows the general storyline of the manga. Of course, some things had to be changed to suit live action, like
I think it was really good movie. Yes it wasn't like the anime and yes it didn't have everythign in common with the manga. But wow great computer animation. I can't wait for when they start production of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Ghost In The Shell live action movies
The only good thing in this movie is Jamie Chung, she turns this movie from Bad to Decent!
