I was hoping for a good movie, but this was sweet. the plot was full off holes, but I didnt think this was going to be up for a oscar...minimum 9 out of 10.
This movie is okay. The rock could have done more, too much talking rather than action. He hardly uses his gun. Creatures such as zombies, boring. The one with a lot of eyes creature kills one sergeant and then it hasn`t showed up for more. We are talking about DOOM, should have more creatures not just zombies. Overall, is okay. It is a good waste of money rather than spending it on the movie "The Fog".
really cool with the first person mode happening every so often and the big gun the rock has is awesome NOW IF YA SMELLLLLLLLLLLL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING?!
When I go to see an action movie, I admit, my expectations are difference than if I go see a comedy, drama, mystery or romance. But basically, if I enjoy the movie, that`s all that counts. I have to say, I really, really enjoyed Doom. The acting was good, the gun sequences were good, the homage they did to the game was really good. Overall, it was a damn fine action movie and the last fight sequence was excellent. Go see it. It`s worth the money. You`ll enjoy it.
The movies good, but if you really want Doom play the game DOOM 3! It`ll keep ya scared like a 5 year old girl and glued to the screen!
Well I just got home from seeing the Doom movie and let me say this much. It`s a far cry from the game. I am a BIG DOOM game player and the movie somewhat resembles the game but not that much. I mean I only saw 5 monsters from the game and in my opinion it didn`t make me think it had a thing to do with the actual game. Us DOOM players will tell you ...... there are parts in the game that scare the hell out of you and there wasn`t one part in the movie that even startled me a little bit. The movie was ok but for me as a DOOM Game Fanatic it was a little bit of a let down.
such a good movie...kimda violent tho...meh it was awesome!
Although it didn`t stay entirely true to DOOM 3`s story, it was still a pure video game movie with a deathmatch, tourney, and all co op missions. The game`s UAC facility looked better tho(and so did a lot of other things)They should`ve put more emphasis on weapons and made the monsters LESS human - they were nicely costumed but moved exactly like human beings. There`s a lot I`m leaving out but anyway I give it a 3.
First person scenes really rocks, Karl Urban and the Rock were cool!
Doom was pretty cool, the made the movie have game featurettes, and there was slight comedy in the movie that made me enjoy it more! I give this movie 4*`s!
