i am tired of this flaily character that johnny depp keeps recycling these past few years. and i am sorry, but i am a mega fan of the original series, and this just angers me. this movie could have been amazing, i was so looking forward to it. instead it's just incredibly lame.

this movie is definately a tim burton one, very dark but with that odd flash of humor. if you like tim burton movies, you will enjoy it. don't go in expecting a laugh a minute or you'll be dissappointed. i'd say it's a good date movie.

Don't go into this movie expecting laugh a minute, that's not what it's supposed to be. If you like dark comedy, brilliant acting, and an interesting feel to a movie, you will love Dark Shadows

i was somewhat disappointed with the story line, seeing that tim burton directed the film, however the stars that were cast and the wacko characters made for a fun romp at the theatre.
