Makes you think of the possibility of something like that happening and the rate at which it multiplies.

A cross between thriller and zombie virus type - minus the zombies. Good acting but if you're looking for something more supernatural and scary, this isn't it.

Was a very realistic movie in my opinion but a bit slow at times. Great acting, especially by Winslet and Damon.

Opens our eyes to the possibility of a worldwide pandemic.

Soderbergh directs a stellar cast in an intelligent, even paced and gripping film. Bring hand sanitizer.

Contagion starts with a very disturbing portrayal from Gwyneth Paltrow of the effects of the 'virus' that afflicts the human population in this movie. From there the movie picks up the pace showing the results of this virus globally as well as locally focusing on Matt Damon. Gripping and even frightening at times, Contagion continues in this vein until the rather abrupt ending. The movie also seems to adopt a moral stance on infidelity....
