A Pretty good movie, I suggest you see it in 3D. It's pretty good action, and really superb acting by the Zeus-his bastard son-and his evil brother. Good story line, yes it doesn't follow greek methology exactly-but it's Myth-o-logy plenty of room to jizz it in the right direction depending on the mood of the movie and in this case the mood was good enough to plunck down the 14 dolla for a hapy ending.
Expected much more.
Nothing in common with the Greec mythology. Something like a story teling. Poor compairing with the original movie. Big dissapointment.
A movie for the head and the heart.
Visual effects looked amazing but the plot was not as good as the original movie. Felt kind of rushed.
What a shame, the original was good for it's time and then they have the capability to make a cool movie but they just blow it. The story is lame, of course they have to stop the krakin, should have stuck to the original story, avatar dude can't act, medusa is good looking, that's right she's hot, the town friar or whatever he is gave me a real good laugh. Other than that it was bad and disappointing. Rent this one on and watch it in 2-D cause 3-D sucked.
While it has a certain ham-fisted charm, at times, it certainly lacks the playful sense of fun of the original.
This movie was suppose to be the Blockbuster this spring. The hype that was made about it will surely get a large grossing price, but don't go in with high expectations. The plot was dull, some parts were pointless beyond belief, random characters who hold no significance to the plot, and most of all, everything was rushed. They would spend a good 15 minutes on one scene that had no point to anything, and then spend 5 minutes on the climax of the film. It crushed what I thought would be a good movie. Wouldn't pay to see it again, especially not in 3D.
Briliantly done. a must see for those that enjoy mythology and action movies.
One of the better movies of Sam Worthington
