Quite a few disturbing scenes. Since I did not watch the original version I cannot make any comparison. But in general, it was an OK movie.

Any remake of a horror classic -- and make no mistake about it, Brian De Palma's "Carrie" is a classic -- is going to come under a lot of scrutiny and will be automatically dismissed by some due to being unnecessary.
