Love the movie! Not really into comics but this is definitely good!

Slow paced for the first 30 mins of the movie to build up the character. Action scenes was average. Plot was average. Hopefully if they make a #2, it will be much better.

Amazing.

Was not impressed with the movie itself but delighted to see Richard Armitage (of UK productions such as MI5, Robin Hood, North and South to name a few) in the cast. As far as I know this was his first foray into North American productions. Amazing actor and hope to see much more of him. He is currently involved as a co-lead in the upcoming `The Hobbit`.

Liked it! Was entertained throughout. Awesome how they made him small at the beginning of the film.

The original was better.

Good intro to the Marvel Universe in the Avengers time period... Modern elements of the script seem to have been 'borrowed' from the script for the animated Avengers flick a few years ago. Impressive transformation from 98-pound weakling to buff 'super soldier', although some of the plot details behind his further transformation from song-and-dance bond salesman to guerrilla warrior could have been better explained (a 'boot camp washout' with little other training becomes Rambo on steroids without ANY apparent further training?) My teen-age sons want to see it again, and at 50+, I wouldn't mind. Good excuse to rest your brain for two hours and simply 'ENJOY'.

I honestly wish I had those hours of my life back - and given that I was bored out of my skull when I watched CA, that's saying something. Be that as it may, if you enjoy the neanderthal approach to movie making and like ac/dc, you may enjoy this movie. Be forewarned - this movie will shave significant points off your iq!
