this movie stresses the importance of self-esteem in a society governed by a "survival of the fittest" mentality. not only did it give me a better understanding of those who bully, it made me proud to be one.
amazing documentary, you just feel for these children and know that a change must be made. also for the b!tc|-| who made the first comment no doubt you were one of the heartless few who dont have sympathy for other you cold heartless shrew
i found this movie to be insanely offensive!! they should not make fabricated stories look real, that's not making a difference, it's lying. i have 7 children of different ages and not one of them has ever been bullied. these 'bully' types exist as adults too, and are often successful for it. it's a take no prisoners world. more than 6 billion on the planet, bound to lose a few of the weak ones. i suppose the meek are inheriting the earth.
i saw the preview tonight at our local theater with my son in vancouver bc, i highly recommend this movie for everyone and feel that schools need to take a tougher stand about bullying and should be showing this movie at least at the beginning of the school year, every year. it is quite a powerful movie that hits home for many people.
very informative. lots of good tips here for those interested in becoming an effective bully.
i agree this movie should be seen by children starting in grade 3 or 4. the comment that canada has zero tolerance is a joke. there is just as much bullying here and nothing is done about it.
this should be mandatory school viewing starting at grade iv or v. the mpaa should have rated this pg for language only, ridiculous that another movie out now with kids battling to the death is only rated pg-13. shame on the mpaa.
i'm shocked the usa's mpaa would rate this movie 'r' which leaves its target audience completely out of reach. this is unwarranted censorship of the very message of this documentary.
if you ask me i believe this movie should get a "g" rating because the bullying age bracket is getting younger & younger. this movie needs to be watched by children of all ages but with their parent(s). these children need to be taught that they are not alone & that if they are being bullied in anyway by anyone...tell someone & everyone until someone listens & the correct steps are undertaken to stop this world wide epidemic!! there are too many children being tortured physically, mentally & emotionally & it needs to stop now!! please don't let 1 more child be in the news because they have committed suicide & didn't know any other way for the pain to stop!!
