bruno was horrible. i went with some old friends thinking we'd get a good laugh but i was hiding underneath my hood the whole time. it was inappropriate, stupid, and only for perverted gays. i would give it a -30 out of 5 stars

WOW. I never saw Borat but I knew what I was getting into when going to this film. Some scenes were excessive but I'm not crapping bricks like the lot of you. If your completely bothered by the fact that two men were going at it...why would you go to a film about a gay person played by the controversial Sasha Baron Cohen?? I didn't think it was great...but I'm not mentally scarred from it like some of you carry on. Ich gave it 3 stars.

why are people taking their kids to this movie?.. This movie was even funnier than Borat. Bordered on pornography at times, satirical, and meant to get people mad. Nevertheless, it is a testament to America's homophobia, there are some scenes where the comedy is overrun by a nausea of reality, ie. what people will agree to, to get their kids into showbiz. Cohen is a comedic genius, and the evolution of Andy Kaufman. Absurd, ballsy, totally insane.

Sacha Baron Cohen is simply a comedic genius. He literally crosses every boundary to prove a satirical point about society today - that the close-mindedness of others is a funny thing to exploit. I thought this was way better than Borat. * * * * *

IF I could say NO STARS I would. Totally disgusting. The scenes that were shown on TV were the only ones in the film that COULD be shown on TV.

F. Can't even compare this movie to Borat. His Bruno skits from his show are MUCH better. This movie was unnecessarily vulgar, with only a few funny parts. What a HUGE disappointment! Why would a father bring his pre-teen daughter to this movie?!?! Come on!!

If I could rate ths movie a 0 star I would. It was vulgar, senseless, obscene. As many people have mentioned, Borat was a funny crazy movie. Bruno however is plainly obscene and pointless. If you want to see penis's flopping around and talking, this is your movie. If you're normal, you will leave feeling like you'll never get those 83 minutes of your life back.

Here's the definition of satire in case any of you need help with it! lol "Satire is often strictly defined as a literary genre or form; although, in practice, it is also found in the graphic and performing arts. In satire, human or individual vices, follies, abuses, or shortcomings are held up to censure by means of ridicule, derision, burlesque, irony, or other methods, ideally with the intent to bring about improvement.[1] Although satire is usually meant to be funny, the purpose of satire is not primarily humour in itself so much as an attack on something of which the author strongly disapproves, using the weapon of wit. A very common, almost defining feature of satire is its stro
