This movie is an excellent piece of comedy. I have never seen any other movie quite like it- I was laughing uncontrollably for most of it, but it also had moments of profound sentimentality and scary realism (a visit to an American Episcopalian church). As long as you are smart enough to discern that the movie is not actually making fun of the people and subjects it says it is (It is actually making a mockery of the real people it meets along the way) you will love it. I am still laughing the day after I saw it.
People need to realise that Borat isnt attacking Kazachstan, he is making fun of our western ignorance, how we belive everything, he is just using Kazachstan as his cover for it.
ABSOLOULTLEY HILLARIOUS
Now that was a fuuny movie. Great use of comedic satire as it exposes the blunders of the American culture. Plus, it really pushed the boundaries of comedy...go see it and you`ll know what I mean. Sacha Baron is a true talent. Very NIICE, I Like!!!
In thirty years of going to the movies, this is the first one I`ve ever walked out on.
I fell asleep about ten minutes in so I can`t really say much.
um...some parts were hilarious.. others were stupid ... good movie but not as hilarious as Telladega night ballad of ricky bobby.
Funny as hell, the negative comments are just people who got offended and can`t take a joke!
was fun just didn`t like the store line for him to go to California just to see Paris hilton
you either love it or hate it... i think that people that watch the ali g show and know about Borat thought it was amazing because thats his character... people that dont watch the show didnt like it because they dint know what to expect, and found his interviews and actions stupid and boring where others found them absolutly brilliant!! i loved the movie.
