Black Swan was amazing, definitely one of those movies that will haunt your thoughts for days after seeing it.

A must see movie! Natalie Portman is mesmerizing in her role as a prima ballerina, who collapses under the strain of becoming the star. Black Swan takes us through her mental plight as she competes with a newcomer for the starring role in Swan Lake.

One of the best I have seen in a long time. I really got into the story, it really had my mind going, trying to figure out what was going on, at all times. The mark of a great/good movie is when long after you have seen it you are still talking about it and want others to see it, beacuse it was that good.

If there was a choice to give this movie no stars, I would. The acting was terrible, the dialogue stilted and laughably bad and the dancing looked computer enhanced and/or generated half the time. I guess some people will enjoy it because of one "sexy" scene, but I thought it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen, and it should have been canned! In order for a "physcho thriller" to have real tension, the audience has to have some sympathy for at least one of the characters, but they were all card-board cut outs of characters, and did not seem like real people. Yes, it was dark, but that felt like a factor of lighting and not a factor of the characters' mentalities or the plot.

Fantastic, beautiful, awe inspiring, not enough adjectives to describe this wonderful movie. Will recommend to others and will purchase the DVD when it is available.

Dark and very disturbing, bordering on pornographic. I have never walked out of a movie, and I have seen hundreds of movies, but there wasn't a sane character in the movie and it just kept getting worse and worse. My date and I got our money back. If this wins any awards it will prove how sick people have become. Who are these people who say this movie is great? It was bizarre, to say the least. I'm so glad I didn't take my mother!!!

movie was okay, would not see it again, kind of bizarre plot, but kept you watching and wondering.

This movie was dark, disturbing, and beautifully acted. It's one of the few movies out there that do a good job of putting the viewer in the protagonist's shoes. There were times I had no idea if the scene that just happened was real or not. I was entranced while watching it and was left thinking about it a few hours after. I highly recommend this film, but watch it with a friend.

Black Swan was inventive and haunting. Natalie Portman is like you've never seen her before as a juvinile ballerina in her early 20's with a point of snapping to no return. Mila Kuniz is her usual playful self, a delight to encounter. And the ever charming Vincent Cassel plays a not so charming director. This movie kept me wondering until well after the credits rolled and I would not recommend seeing it with your parents!
