I think it was a weak and not so objective depiction of a series of complicated multi-layered events from a very specific and biased point of view. Of course they added a couple scenes at the beginning about America's support for the Shah to show that they're not biased. But I think it was just a second-grade hollywood suspense with a super silly ending and definitely politically motivated. Bus aside from that Argo is essentially and overwhelmingly right-wing, pro-American propaganda, demonizing Iran as backward, barbaric, and fanatical, which is particularly problematic considering the United States' rising tensions with Iran. One of the best movies I've seen in years. Affleck deserves an Oscar for acting and directing - brilliant.
the opposite of historical truth - designed to give the population the message that we should bomb Iran. Think about it.
True story, Canadians as heroes, every Canadian should see this to see what was risked in the name of humanitarianism.
Ben Affleck did an amazing job directing and acting in this INCREDIBLE movie! A definite must see!!
