Anti-Christian? WHO THE HELL CARES! This flick was good, honestly entertaining and doesn't deserve the bad stigma the first flick cast upon the sequel. Worth seeing.
Kind of slow moving and boring. Too much time spent in Vatican archives trying to translate documents. Music too was overdone--religious music didn't seem to blend well with police cars racing around Rome.
movie was good, apart from the necessity to deviate from the book, but entertaining as 'hell' ( no need to be sarcastic about the religious aspect of it; they never said it was based on a true story, and besides, weren't movies made to be entertaining, I wander?!) ...now: the music was FANTASTIC, the scenery splendid and the special effects up to standards... I recommend it
I've never read the book but I thought it was really good! My husband read the book and he liked the book a little more because of the detailed explanations but he still enjoyed the movie!
AMAZING!
I absolutely love Dan Brown and his novels and I would have to say Angels and Demons was by far my favorite book by him. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for this movie. I accept the fact that a books' story line must be changed to make a better movie but i feel as if some important parts were taken out that added to the strength of the story line. Overall I thought the plot was weak and choppy. The movie lacked depth and interesting. The acting was mediocre. Overall I would suggest for you to not bother seeing the movie and just stay home and read the book. I guarantee you will enjoy it more.
Hard to understand why people consider this an anti-Catholic movie. It seemed to me that in the end the Vatican is totally vindicated and a new pope goes forward to save the world from mad scientists.
Awesome!
Tom Hanks was awesome, as always.... plot lagged a little, I appreciated the Special Effects
Not to bad. Would have preferred to wait until it was out on DVD but not a waste of money seeing it in the theatre either. Hanks does a great job in this and in my opinion this one was far more appealing than the first with its cheezy ending. Closer to the book and well supported.
