Fell a sleep during part of the movie. It was humorous over all and I got a couple of laughs, but it wasn't that good of a movie. I would call it a rental at best. One of the best one liners is at the very beginning of the movie, when they are still packing nuts.
LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!! SO CUTE
This was a hard one. For those of you who fell in love with the book it will be hard to adjust to the liberty that writers Jon Vitti, Will McRobb, Chris Viscardi have taken with this classic. Alvin, who plays only a supporting role in the book take center stage. There is nothing about the internal gender struggle that haunts Theodore in the book. He simply is a male chipmunk, nothing more. And Simon? The booked revealed a chipmunk more interested in walnuts then singing, the movie is the exact opposite??? I have to admit the effects were good, character Dave Seville looks as real as life! Bottom line, if you liked the book, you will hate this one...
i like it
The first must-see movie of 2007.
I think this is the best movie I have ever seen, I love the part when one of the chipmunks is singing in the dishwasher!
