Wonderful movie with loads of colorful characters! Tim Burton proposes a new vision of the classic tale and it's great! All the actors are amazing and the movie is visually stunning! A must see in 3D!
If you're expecting THE greatest substance-induced hallucination movie, as the original was, you'll be very disappointed. The 3D wasn't great at all (watched it in Real D 3D not IMAX) and actually gave me a head ache. If you're looking for a decent movie to watch this spring with the family or even for a date movie, have at it. If your a Wonderland Fanboy/girl you're going to be very disappointed. Than again if you are a Fanboy/girl you probably already were disappointed in Real D on opening night.
Great piece of work!
i didnt like this movie at all.it was a disapointment, i was all excited to see it cuz i loved the origial one. this one just didnt seem to follow the story line. not enought color in fact hardly any. there should have been color after all tehy did write this on drugs!.
Excellent movie, very fantastical, loved the chesire cat, the dog all the characters in wonderland
I was never a fan of this novel BUT I really LOVED this in 3D. There were so many comical moments. Most of all, I loved the ending when she found her "muchness", defied the tradition of dependence on marriage and had the courage to do things her way. A MUST see again.
by far one of my favorite Tim Burton films!!! Fantastic job!
This movie was disappointing after all the months of pre-advertising it had received. There was no magic or any real heart to this film. Many of the characters were poorly presented, both visually and with little character development This definitely was not the "must see" movie event I was expecting. Kudos to Helena Bonham Carter though for her very funny and over the top performance!
I saw this in 2D and as an adult found this movie thoroughly enjoyable. The costumes, scenery and makeup are fantastic. As you expect, this movie is vibrant, strange, humorous, full of amazing detail and rediculous realities. Just as it should be. But I can't help feeling that this movie would have been better had it been made darker and more warped for older audiences rather than for families. Still, I would recomend leaving your younger children at home, as they are not going to understand what they are seeing, and will be disturbed and frightened.
WAAAAAAAAY better than Avatar!
