This movie is confusing, silly and just plain BAD. Don't waste your time or money because you will be very disappointed. I had to walk out before the end. I've never done that before!

The plot will likely be incomprehensible to anyone who hasn't read the book and the acting is average at best.

Enjoyed "A WRINKLE IN TIME" because of the beautiful work put into the movie; and appreciate the message it brings (IF someone opens their heart to the message of love and kindness). Maybe people are too depressed or depraved to enjoy something that isn't just about violence and gore. Yes, there's violence involved in this movie -- It is violence that comes from darkness. Just one of the clues that a thinking, feeling person can learn from this movie. Learning never hurt anyone.

Honestly I give it a 0 star rating but that is not an option. I read the book right before the movie came out and I was very disappointed in the way the movie was manipulated with Hollywood's idea of what is wrong with our world, as if they have any idea of our reality. Can we please just entertain and stop with the political problems crammed into everything! I was ready to leave after 20 minutes. Just read the book and forget the movie!

Justifiably poorly rated.

A hodgepodge of confusion.

Visually and spiritually inspiring.

This movie is a faithful adaptation in both structure and spirit. This Meg IS Meg, and if you were a fan of hers, or were ever a teenager struggling with growing up and self esteem, you should like her. I thought the movie also did a better job of explaining the threat and the science than the book. And the ending and relationship between the parents is more emotionally full. The acting was also great, especially from the children. Witherspoon was a little weak, but when you learn about here character, you'll see why. I'm on board for the sequels. Give us the Farandolae!!

Cliche characters, sappy acting, boring... a real time-and-money waster. NOT for little kids. And this from an Oprah fan! : (

Too bad we can't rate movies like this no stars.
