I went into this movie thinking it would be terrible, but I was surprised by it. Nightmare had it's flaws, but I think that the essence of the movie was there and it was equally creepy. The acting wasn't so bad either, which I was expecting to be just terrible. Overall, not half bad.
micheal bay you suck!!!!!!!!!!!!
1, 2, Freddy's gonna bore you, 3, 4, rent the orig-in-al!
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...No nightmares, I slept like a baby through this time waster.
People should understand by now that everything Michael Bay touches is pure garbage. He specializes in slow-motion boob filming, anything beyond that is too complex for him.
this has to be the biggest dissapointment this year. What happened, Michael Bay?
Jackie Earl Haleys take on Freddy is dark and scary!!! A well crafted movie. If any one likes the nightmare movies see this!!!
If you like nightmare on elm street its going to be hard to remake a classic. With that in mind this remake actually kept a lot of the classic scenes that make the original great. Compared to the latest additions of Friday 13, and Halloween, Nightmare on elm street entertained the new generation of horror while keeping my generation happy.
Its OK. Freddy not that scary. The creepy factor that Robert England brought to the original is missing. Wait for rental.
I found it spooky, and I was expecting it to be not that great. Freddy was actually supposed to be a pedophile in the original too, but the writer changed it because of news reports at the time. Overall, it was worth seeing it.
