I went with my nine year old granddaughter. We both loved it. She wanted to stay and watch it a second time.

I was impressed by how much heart this movie had. I was expecting the slap stick, everything goes wrong that can, comedy that is typical of so much of Adam Sandlers work; i was, however, pleasantly surprised. Sandler and Barrymore had the perfect chemistry for the characters. And, despite the films light hearted exterior, it had a profound effect on me, and how i view life... how fortunate i am to be able to remember the people i meet and the feelings and emtions i have for them.

This romantic comedy was not one of Barrymore`s best works ("Never Been Kissed" still gets 2 thumbs up from me) but worth watching. Some scenes were funny but predictable. Barrymore pulled it off well but Sandler lacked something in this movie. Their collaborative effort gets a 3 out of a 5 for me but they need to tone down on the `80s music -- its a little dated.

¤Well this movie was okay..not as good as I had expected though! Lord of The Rings 3 is still my Number One movie recently released. Adam Sandler was good but he would have been better in a funnier part. Rob Schneider is always pretty funny but this time he got a little carried away!¤
