The best War/Action movie since Gladiator... makers of Sin City outdid themselves... Amazing visuals, great acting, well thoughtout plot development... Gory, bloody, and violent. TWO BIG THUMBS UP!!! I highly recommend it to everyone, excluding the faint of hearts.

twas a great movie from an action standpoint... i was so disapointed with the graffic and unnecessary sex scenes and nudity that was very in your face and disterbing....i would love to see it again but i dont know that i could sit through that again... i loved the sound track... absolutely amazing whomever did that!!!

Very graphic but an excellant portrayal of the lives and culture of the little known and oft forgotten warriors of Greece. Honour, tradition and glory are what we see & learn from this film. Better than any American "feel-good-soldier" movie.
