this was not an Adam Sandler movie. He was so reserved and I think acted just like a regular dad (of course his own kids were the stars of the movie), with a bunch of sprinkled funny comments here and there, but it was totally a pre-teen/young adult movie. I'm not Jewish so I learned quite a bit about that faith. I was impressed his kids can act! I do think that the "front fart" stuff presented to the whole crowd was a bit much and a horrible way to ruin a girls Bat Mitzvah. That was unforgivable and to me it's what ruined it. The girls were BOTH ending their friendship and honestly it should have been ended. There was no coming back from something like that, no matter how they tried to twist it and wrap the movie up in a bow. It was Cruel Intentions to the max. Otherwise it was an interesting look into the world of pre-teens which scares me because I have young daughters.
