I don`t usually see Israeli movies, but I enjoyed this one - up to a point. I think too many issues were addressed, and making the German a homosexual was one that could have been left out. There was enough with the German, Jewish, Palestinian conflicts. It was an attempt to cover all bases in the most politically correct way. Overall, the acting and story were very good.
Loved it. A very inciteful and moving film.
Wonderful film, and certainly the scenes of the most beautiful little country in the world should whet anyone`s appetite to visit lovely Israel. The beautiful topography, the active pulse of Tel Aviv, the beauty and serenity and intensiveness of the old city of Jerusalem and the beautiful Kinneret (The Sea of Galilee) added to the backdrop of an interesting and important story. Then of course the wonderful music throughout the film added to the pleasure.
Worst Ever!
Good, not GREAT!
Amazing little movie about love and intolerance. Told from a very compassionate, non-judgemental point of view, it touches on the conflcits between Israelis, Germans and Arabs and also between gay and straight. But it`s not a boring, intellectual essay! It will make you laugh and cry. And the guy who plays the Mossad agent (Lori Ashkenazy) is not only a great actor but also...so yummy! He was also the lead on "Late Marriage", for those of you who caught that (other) very good movie.
This was a great film that was funny, smart and touching. I will highly recommend it to my family and friends.
