Don't know why this film didn't get a mention at the Oscars
Great Film. Very Powerful
Chris Brown's first foray into film production is every bit as challenging and thought-provoking as the music he makes.
Very good movie, gives you a feeling of what a lot of men of war had to go through. And why it is so hard for them once they come back home. I would definitely recommend to see.
One of the best films I have seen in quite some time. Very emotional story based on the autobiography of British soldier Eric Lomax. I have to admit I approached the film with the preconceived idea that vengeance is the best tonic for injustice. Certainly the Japanese government to this day has not accepted full responsibility for the atrocities its soldiers committed during the war. The film reminded me that not every soldier is a war criminal and for that I am humbled.
Revenge can satisfy for a moment. Forgiveness will satisfy forever.
Really had no story line, little development of their relationship....just not very exciting!!
Very powerful movie. Enjoyed it.
Acting was very good, story line good although a bit graphic at times. Thoroughly enjoyed
