Outstanding drama about whistle-blower Jeffrey Wigand's appearance on 60 MINUTES and the twisted ramifications that followed. The acting is outstanding all around, not just by the leads Pacino, Crowe, and Plummer; but the supporting character actors as well. The film's best moment belongs to veteran character actor Bruce McGill in a powerful courtroom scene. This is probably Michael Mann's best film. Check it out.
Brilliant. A sleeper of a movie. Russell Crowe is outstanding.
An unbelievable journey through a man`s struggle and the morals and beliefs he kept fully in tact throughout the trying experiences in which he withstood. Crowe and Pacino are a dynamite combination, where just a look between these two says it all. The cinematography is extraordinary as is Crowe`s instinct mannerisms which he displays with such powerful, moving emotion. A great film which depicts the power corporations in America can have, but this feature presents how a single man can overcome these odds with courage and truthfulness.
Excellent movie, it didn`t deserve the lack of exposure it got
