This film constitutes a literal journey, one that at the end I felt I had taken just as I look back now at my journey with the pandemic, not with any of its depressing details, but now with a sense of the survival of it in my life. I didn’t realize this feeling was in my life until this film brought it out it of me—or perhaps it is what this film has given me. It is palpable. I’m sure this would not be the case if it weren’t for the magnificent acting across the board, with that of Jodie Comer a masterpiece; an extraordinary story brilliantly brought to the screen, and really marvelous direction. Though it is on film it is alive, and has made me more so.
