Exquisite scenery and story of a real life custom in Mongolia. The simplicity of a young girl wanting to train an eagle to hunt in a country where only men had participated, is uplifting - if you can call training an eagle to hunt simple in the first place! The eagles themselves are wonderful to watch, from an eaglet to maturity. Loved it!
The scenery was amazing. The movie was totally staged liked a Disney movie. Another feminist propaganda movie.
Spectacular scenery. Uplifting story presented without excess dramatization. Much more moving for me because I was there in the Altai mountains with one of the Eagle Hunter families in summer of 2015 with my son-in-law and grandson. That hunter is even one of the characters in the movie.
