Terrific! Give "Kill Bill" a run for it`s money. This one`s going to be a Classic!

Ohh what a stinker! If I had only known how bad it would really be... This movie was formulaic and slow, and had really BAD computerized blood/sword effects. And what was with the dance sequence at the end? It`s only saving grace was that it was in Japanese. Very cheesy. Stay away. (I wish someone had written a review like this before I went to see it - that was 2 hours of my life I will never get back.)

Takeshi Kitano is a genius! An awesome movie with comedy and gore perfectly balanced. A must for Battle Royale fans!

Good movie, but some blood scenes are totally computer generated.

I enjoyed it! It`s not your typical samurai flick - there was a lot of sword-play and a lot of humour. It appeared as if some of the blood was added in as CGI.

The Blind Swordsman was one of my favorite movie since i was a little boy. Coming from asia, any kind of martial arts movie was very popular and Zatoichi (the blind swodsman) and Wang Yu (the one arm swordsman) was the hit movie then. If i remembered right, the original Blind Swordsman is Shintaro Katzu (i think that`s how you spell it) and he was taking care or adopted a little boy and he was on his back on most of the fight scene.
