Liked that they incorporated some twists that you didn't necessarily expect. The kids really enjoyed it.

Just saw this, encouraged by a decent trailer. Not sure what is missing from this little romp. I liked the storyline, although it was pretty predictable, the voice acting was top-notch, and the layouts and composition were superb. I think maybe most of the characters were too broadly drawn with no backstories....just kind of thrown together for some variety. Their various skills were more or less "throwaways", with the exception of the spider. I KNOW it's animation, but there must be some kind of need for their particular skill-sets. .And, it seems as though they got to the meat of the story too soon...not enough reason or motivation for their actions. It wraps up fairly well, if not a bit too easily, and conveniently. Regardless, the kids will like it for the fart jokes and cute characters. Apparent "to be continued" ending, but that's also fairly expected if it does well. ~Reviewed by Gary Gillett
