One of my favorite movies. First the cinematography was unbelievable, and the way the characters evolved was fantastic. Pittsburgh is PROUD to have a director of this quality!

"The tears of the sun" was so realistic
so real. it is just what civil wars are about in Africa. Cruaulty, barbarian, no pity for innocent people.
anytime have a second
"Tears Of The Sun" was very emotional, dramatic and humane...Two hours after watching the movie, I was still feeling the effects it had on me...
I sat and watched this movie for the first time with my husband on Wed 22th June 2005. For me personally I found the scenes to be so realistic and horrific, it has left a definite and lasting impression on my mind. Being a mother of 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy aged from 10 to 2 yrs, I was shocked by many of the scenes. Tears of the sun is a great movie it`s just very graphic and it so real. It opened my eyes to see what really is happening in Afica. This is an eye opener and shows what those people really go through to survive and what those women go throgh to keep there population growing. I hope the people see waht really happens and trys to do something about it.
Absolute depth of the human spirit and our opposing animal nature. I hope this movie is seen by as many happy-go-lucky people as pssible. Maybe then, "Out of sight out of mind," will be less of an excuse for selfish inaction. Congrats!
