It's good to be made aware of the very sad circumstances that happened in these Magdalin laundries. However, that doesn't make it a good movie. Way too many, "Where's Waldo" scenes where you're trying to catch the drift of something... Who knows what they're getting at. The worst they showed was folding sheets and scrubbing floors but obviously it was worse because of the trauma the girls portrayed. I think we watched him scrub his hands at least three times. I think I was supposed to connect something there. Considering it was an old truck he drove it always started good. It was kind of confusing. The one girl was begging him to get her out of there, but the one in the coal shed he could barely convince her to leave. Most movies the actors will at least say a few words. Here, we're left guessing the whole time what a certain contemplative look might mean. Fill in the blanks at your own chosen speed I guess. Now you know all about it.

Another amazing performance from one of the best actors. A story that needs to be brought out in to the open of how it was and how far we've come, we mustn't go back. Thank you Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
