I love that this film is based on a true story PLUS many of the actors played themselves in the movie. That's awesome! Talk about rehabilitating, this ministry/endeavor was life-transforming, hope-filling, even life-saving. So many ups and downs, the movie really drew you in to each person.

Wonderful story. Does not veer into schmaltz. Based on a true story of an acting program in Sing Sing prison with a number of the actors being actual prisoners. I found it uplifting in the end.
