It was an amazing and emotional movie focused on the goodness of humankind and its potential evil.
A wonderful tribute to a great man! There are people living in the Collingwood area who are "Nicky's children"and survived WWII because of his heroic efforts. I hope they and their children and grandchildren get to see the movie. Please extend the run!!
A beautiful movie about such terrible times. What a man!
An excellent historical movie from the beginnings of World War 2 in Czechoslovakia. Real life characters with Anthony Hopkins at his Best. Shows the determination , compassion and humanity of people in an otherwise brutal world.
loved, loved this movie touched me deepy
I, generally, don't get emotional but this movie had me in tears numerous times. Such a great story for such a horrible time in history. One of the few movies these days worth seeing.
"I like to swim" - open the floodgates! What an amazing, sweet, humble, loving, dedicated, persistent man. Reminds me of Cabrini - don't take no for a answer. Now that's a real superhero! And the ripple effect of all his unrelenting, life-saving efforts will go on forever. What an awesome legacy, what an awesome man!
A true story with so much HEART !!!!!! Un-Un-Unbelievable. The subject of the movie is very sad, but the ending is REMARKABLE.
Anthony Hopkins portrays this man so perfectly. The actual footage of the children this man saved is on the internet (the childen all in their 70's and 80's. A must must see movie. Gives you faith in humanity.
Anthony Hopkins does it again. His character shifts across the years telling us about a true heroic effort to save hundreds of children from the Nazis. Many films like Schindler's List tell such stories but Hopkins brings a much needed touch of humor to the somber historical event.
