Sarah Polley is soooo bad! She is horrible! What a non-talent she is! Would it kill you to show a bit of emotion, Sarah??? She's obviously a sociopath. Oh, and the absolutely terrible hate monger Mark Ruffalo is in this, so you know to avoid this one like the plague.
Polley's character is horrifically selfish, and Polley herself turns in her usual non-performance. Infuriating. Miss it.
Two of the world's worst non-actors (Polley and Ruffalo) in the same terrible film together. The result is a film so dull, so boring that it caused the spontaneous deaths of dozens of children who weren't even watching the movie! Miss this one, unless you've a hardcore movie masochist.
The topic was good, and acting was so-so (thought Sarah Polley was unfortunately very one-note, no real drama, but others were very good, particularly liked Blondie). Too many scenes seemed unrealistic. For instance - the doctor would not be telling a patient that she`s about to die in a waiting room - there`s got to be some office available for crying out loud! As I work in the federal correctional system, I know that there was no research done in terms of the father`s incarceration as well. Other factual errors, such as the comment about the conjoined twins being a boy and a girl (not possible, they must be the same sex) was just distra
I thought it was brilliant.. It really touched me . I can honestly say its the best movie Ive ever seen and will again and again!!!
Sarah Polley is the most boring actress I`ve ever seen. I`d love to see her have some energy, just once, in a role.
Lackluster acting and terrible script. Why would any woman would want to leave a legacy of cheating on her husband (and kids) as her final act. She had to take a lot of time away from them to do it. Why not spend her final days with them, loving them? The tape was a nice idea, but why not also have spent as much time with them as possible? And she used some guy to get him to fall in love with her, knowing it couldn`t last and knowing it would hurt him. What a despicable person.
What an amazing movie, this is real life for a lot of people. This is truthfully how people may be with their kids and mothers. Sarah Polleys character handled her issue extremely well.
Very real and very moving.
Moving...touchs on a subject everyone thinks about, but could never imagine it brought to the big screen so beautifully.
