I received my DVD in the mail about a week ago and have already watched this movie for the 3rd time last night. This movie is so inspirational, we definitely need to see more faith based movies like this to watch for the whole family. My kids absolutely loved it. I can't even begin to understand the journey the Newman family went through. Bring Kleenex when you watch it, it definitely brings you to tears, but in the end tears of joy. Daniel Roebuck was incredible as Ed Hanson. And the car that he built for Brycen is a show stopper, my son said he wants one just like that. This is a must watch movie for all, I can't say enough about it, but what I can say is thank you for bringing this to watch. Why can't more movies be this wholesome and faith based with incredible stories. So happy for Brycen Newman that he survived. Does anyone know how Brycen Newman is doing now and what he is doing? I googled and it looks like his journey through brain cancer was in 2016.
What an inspirational movie, just got my DVD and I absolutely loved it. You are pulling for Brycen Newman from the minute you see him on the screen. It brings all the emotions out in you, happiness, laughter, tears of sorrow and tears of joy - have some tissues beside you because I promise you will need them. I can't even imagine what Richard and Nicole Newman went through and can completely understand why Richard lost his faith and regained it. So happy for the Newman's. What Brycen had to deal with at such a young age, should not befall on any child. Your heart truly goes out to Brycen during his journey and I wondered if he really did get a Mustang that looked that incredible and looking at the pictures in the credits it is the actual Mustang he got from Make-A-Wish. What a blessing, so happy for Brycen. I can tell you this is a must see movie, I would absolutely rate it as a 5 star must watch.
Wow, what an incredible movie. This is a must see for people that have faith. A community comes together to show a teenage boy that they love him and will not allow him to face the journey of fighting cancer by himself. Gives hope to this young man "Bryce" and allows him to feed off their faith in order to survive. I can't even imagine what his parents "Richard & Nicole" went through watching their child fight for his life against brain cancer. What a performance from Daniel Roebuck who played "Ed Hanson." You could feel the emotion from Eddie McClintock who played the father "Richard" come through in the movie, the stress on that family must have been unreal. We need more movies like this, family friendly movies with a great story to tell. Great movie, glad I watched it and will recommend to all my friends. This movie shows, there is a higher power than us here on earth and he does listen.
