gotta love Dali
It was an amazing film. I bow low to Javier Beltran-outstanding performance. As to Robert Pattinson...he showed us the true Salvador Dali-crazy, changeable obsessive,fussy,selfish. Even the way he moved and spoke reminded me of the painter. Good job!
Such a disappointment. Weak direction of an even weaker script and poor editing but mostly due to the miscasting of Robert Pattinson as Dali. He has neither the depth nor the sensibility for this role. He simply wasn't strong enough and Javier Beltran wiped the floor with him in every scene. Also, the Spanish accents from the non-Spaniards were embarrassing, particularly that of Pattinson. What was that he was doing? And why did Beltran speak in Spanish when he was quoting Lorca's own words and do a voice-over in English at the same time?
