This belated and vacuous sequel to 1987's King Kong Lives isn't just inept, it's boring to boot. Not a single character from the '87 film returns, so one can only assume Brian Kerwin took a look at the script and turned his nose up to it without reservation. This is a Kong movie in-name-only, completely lacking in heart or suspense of any kind. Poor Kong hasn't had it this bad since the awful Japanese exploitation pictures of the 1960's. Don't bother.
An American science expedition finds startling evidence confirming the existence of Bigfoot. You know the rest.
In this remake of the 1976 classic, a giant ape is captured on a remote island to become a sideshow attraction in America. He makes a valiant attempt to shield his lady love from attacking choppers. Completely bereft of the heart that made the earlier film a sensation, SKULL ISLAND is a pale imitation best to be avoided.
Great movie. Godzilla vs Kong and skull island are the best kong movies ever made. 5 stars
It's trash made by people who have no comprehension of the Kong mythos. How is "Kong" supposed to climb a New York skyscraper when he can just walk over them?! Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
BRIE LARSON IS A BAD ACTRESS AND MOVIE IS GARBAGE
Worst Kong film since King Kong Vs. Godzilla. No story, no characters, just lame.
Entertaining but not a movie I want to watch a second time.
BORING!!!!! AND BRIE LARSON IS UGLY!!!!!!
