Sweet movie. Ethan Hawke is always good.
Average telling of the well worn story of an unhappy wife seeking a different love and life. I didn't we much chemistry between these characters. The story is melancholy..
I liked it. Ethan Hawke is very good as the charismatic 50 year old who never grew up. Rose Byrne is excellent as the long-suffering girlfriend of Duncan who finds some excitement elsewhere. Romantic comedy isn't really my thing but this one is entertaining, interesting, and touching. 80/100 …...guru bob
Nick Hornby does it again with a great script, direction, and acting. Ethan Hawke, Rose Byrne and Chris O'Dowd turned in wonderful performances, especially O'Dowd who continues to eat up the screen with his exceptionally humorous and yet understated performance. The music is just perfect for the film. Go see this one. You will laugh and maybe cry just a little.
