An absolutely ridiculous thriller that has to rank high on the list of worst ever films. Quaid looks properly ashamed to be slumming in this garbage, and Zhang Ziyi hams it up so much you'll swear you can smell pork in the room. Zhang is a competent actress, but a her ambition to crack the U.S. market combined with her lack of saavy with same evidently led her to put her trust in talentless filmmakers who let her and everyone else down. The writers of this atrocity should truly be ashamed of themselves. This isn't even bad in an entertaining way. It's just HORRIBLE. A must to avoid.

Dennis Quaid never lets you down as an actor ...he carried this movie and it has a chilling ending but so true to so many families in the world today..
