This world would be awesome with more people like Tim Treadwell in it. What a gentle, loving person. The scenes of him just being there with bears near him -- not touching them or bothering them in any way, just existing where they were existing, were so powerful.
Saw this on Discovery Channel over a week ago. It left such an impression on me that I`m still thinking about it, which is unusual for something I saw on a small screen. I would have loved to see it on the big screen. Although I really loved the extra show at the end, where his friends talk about their reactions to the film, and how they thought Timothy would`ve reacted. Long live Treadwell`s memory. You were an awesome person.
Wonderful documentary. Very inspiring.
I loved it so much I`m going to get it on DVD. I love that song Coyotes by Bob McDill, I`ll probably have to buy the CD too now.
Amazing! I loved this, and just loved Timothy Treadwell`s enthusiasm. What wasn`t clear in the documentary was how exactly he was helping grizzly bears. They were definitely helping him; they gave him joy; a reason to live... too bad one rogue bear ended that, but even so, I don`t think he would`ve given up one moment of his time with the bears. I can see why this won so many awards.
What a dumbass!!!
