Helen Mirren was great as Golda. Although I knew the outcome, it was suspenseful until the end. And it was fascinating to learn about all the bad decisions that were made.
Nope
Golda Meir was one of the greatest Prime Ministers of all time. All men should follow in her footsteps.
I didn't care for this.
Helen Miren pulled it off again ... She one of the greatest actresses around. She should be up for an academy award
Amazing woman - amazing story
Lots of historical facts in this movie. The film showed the difficulties that Israel had to endure when the countries very survival was at state.
No Subtitles at Cineplex, but independent exhibitors ARE showing subtitles when Hebrew spoken. The movies' crucial scene where Golda listens in on battlefield communications, loses its poignancy when the Hebrew is not translated on screen. Excellent movie otherwise, with Hellen Mirren deserving an Academy nomination.
In God We Trust is not a logo folks. Being under one Creator means what? What does this mean to you? To others? We carry this in our pockets, on all of us and we are close to getting us all informed, connected and working.
Great acting, but a little hard to follow since I never did understand all that was going on in the Middle East. Still don't. I was getting chest pains with all that smoking! Did she have lung cancer?
