Stanley Kubrick's final film remains a complex, misunderstood masterpiece. Dreams. Fidelity. Repression. Risk. The thing to remember is that most of the film is a dream.Tom Cruise is good in the lead. Nicole Kidman isn't in the film as much as her then-husband but she is very good and very sexy. Sydney Pollock plays a doctor and he replaced Harvey Kietel who was fired over "creative differences" (shades of Apocalypse Now). As with other great Stanley Kubrick films, repeat viewings are not only recommended but essential.

I don`t get it. There is something deep but what is it?

I am not surprised that many of people did not understand the meaning of Kubrick`s last masterpiece. The meaning which is much deeper than Nicole`s being sexy, etc...The only message I have is- Watch other Stanley Kubrick`s films and hopefuly you will discover his world...

Sexy. Nicole kidman is so sexy. I also enjoyed the relationship between Tom and her after their little fight. It was so realistic. And little Leelee Sobieski was great.

Real life ... have a wide eye open on this world.. Liked the last scene, xmas shopin, adults talkin about life, and kids shopin innocently. Time forced me to advance in life, but from what I c, I wonder if human race has acheived the true meaning of life, or are we druged with Life fiction reality.. You know, I realy like to hear feed back on this movie tks ;) Stanley Kubrick the director and the producer was amasing in his work 7 stars for you even if ur not here to c it... It`s legendary director Stanley Kubrick`s last film as he died of a heart attack shortly after shooting was complete. no comments. However I would like to add so
