Cuckoo is an example of an oddball concept played out without tripping over itself. Recent "elevated" horror tries too hard to be stylish at the expense of the story, often leaving it behind to showcase unmotivated weirdness leaving character and plot behind. This movie is odd, but it tells a story. It may be a simple one and a bit silly at times but it was unnerving and fun and I cared about what happened to the characters.

The movie is a new kind of scary I enjoyed it a lot. You don't know what's going to happen next. They should make more film like these. I am glad it was not anything to do with someone possessed by the devil. I am tired of the devil. I am glad he Is not in this movie. Scenes are very scary and the people too.
