Heartstopping shocks and suspense that is almost umbearable. Not a complicated story, but it doesn't need to be. A simple tale of survival that delivers the thrills. This is the movie that THE SHALLOWS wanted to be. That film was also directed by this film's director Alexandre Aja, but THE SHALLOWS was terminally stupid. Aja gets it right this time.
very good suspense thriller
I liked this movie, It made me jump a few times well done for an animal horror movie. Not for kids though.
This movie was actually scarier than a lot of the recent scary movies I've seen... Crawl grabs your attention through out the movie unlike Anne bell comes home.. Which started out very boring and it was all over the place... Crawl was scary and freaky...
Predictable. Not much of a story.
I thought this movie was going to be about "monsters," but boy was I surprised!! Huge alligators!!! My shoes a hole in the carpet at the theater!!Stomping my feet during the entire movie. Other people said they were doing the same. Scared the bejesus out of me. Throughly enjoyed it!!!
It was better then I expected kept you on the edge of your seat
I really enjoyed this movie. Having a daughter about her age, I could only imagine how this movies father felt. That is what gave it the edge for me. Truly terrifying, also realizing that this was something that could possibly happen, also made it more real. Worth the money for this summer movie. Just be careful that your popcorn doesn't jump out of the bag and into your face. Yes, there are a few shocks.
Good cg work. Realistic storm action. Female lead does a good job at keeping us interested. But a lame script and direction sinks this movie into boredom. Obviously spent too much on the exciting storm set and ran out of money for a script. Sad waste of money.
Action packed and creative horror film. I have been through hurricanes myself, and really liked the film's look and feel.. Made me feel like i was there. Very exciting.
