Middling sequel to Mel Gibson's hit western. A disappointment.
Absolutely great movie about Jay's fight to surf the big waves. The photography is awesome and the acting is really quite good.
Beautifal movie the actors did so well go see this movie
This movie hit me like a ton of bricks.I was not expecting it to effect me in the way it did.I could only hope that this story can spark some meaning for everyone in what ever way comes.I was in Los Angeles back in April, before that was back in 2005 on a 3500km Bicycle trip down the West Coast.I remember seeing the surfers in California then wondering what it would be like.Interestingly, this time around coincidentally while hiking in the Hollywood Hills I bumped into a group of shaggy burly looking men,and after a few seconds recognized one of the men as Gerard Butler..who as I just realized now,was sporting long hair and beard for this role! Live your dreams..life is short.Enjoy the movie a
This movie was amazing. The movie used surfing as a metaphor for people helping each other through tragic times. The acting was great. The scenery was breath taking and added so much to the action and suspense. This movie is worth the money. See it in IMAX if you can. You'll want to go surfing after.
Great cinematography and the casting was well done. If you like water sports and surfing this is the movie for you. Story is a bit predictable and there were some loose ends, but overall, enjoyed it.
Incredible surf photography but more than that the movie has a lot of heart.
