Horror inversion of the Superman mythos is okay, but the casting of the odious Elizabeth Banks is a major debit. They should've cast someone who is not a horrible person instead.
It's a dark side superman. Creativity was appreciated though.
Dumbest movie I’ve seen in a long time just flat out sucked
Decent movie with a good premise, but the kid could have been more normal and less psychotic to be believable. That would make the twist more surprising.
Have seen better, have seen worse.
It was different but predictable.
The kid was so unappealing on every level. The story was weak and stole from various horror flicks of recent years, i.e., the drawings in the notebook. Think Mothman Prophecy. Eh,...Superman, except the kid is evil and again, unappealing. I could go on and on and on....
Chilling!
I enjoyed this scary movie. It was more than I expected, even though it had a few holes. I thought the acting was very good and the pace was about right leading up to the crazy action. A little gory, but it is a horror movie after all. A nice popcorn movie!
Definitely an evil movie. Being it is a mirror of Superman, I was hoping for better writing and character believability. Good, but not great.
