This is definitely a feel-good movie with a central gay theme. It challenges prejudices without being offensive and helps to dispell the myths that gay men cannot be good fathers, and that they are incapable of living in a committed, loving relationship with their monogamus partner. Compared to some other movies with gay characters at the center of the plot, "Breakfast with Scot" is a breath of fresh air.
So cute! and, if I may say, hilarious!
pathetic ... like the leafs, an exercise in stupidity
touching! funny! and OH so real!
This is a lovely portrayal of so many dimensions of humanity from parental loss, gender identity, the complexities of sex role stereotyping, and it is both heart warming and funny. Acting by Noah Bennett (Scot) is superb with his ability to play a range of impressive, very realistic emotion. A must see film.
simple, sweet, and CLEAN
simple, fun, and heartwarming!
This Canadian movie moves the bar up many notches for other Canadian projects to try and reach. Well acted and directed. Every scene advances the story. Kept me engaged and laughing. Ratings show you will either love it or hate it.
