TREVOR BLUMAS
Date of Birth: October 16, 1984
Born and raised in London, Ontario, Tremor Blumas studied at a school for the arts from grades four to eight. He began his career onstage with London's Original Kids Theatre Company, in musicals such as Annie Warbucks, My Fair Lady and Bugsy Malone.
His break into television came at age 12 with a guest appearance on the series Earth: Final Conflict. He received his first Young Artist Award nomination for his work in the TV movie Stranger in Town (1998). Following a guest appearance on the hit series Due South, he landed a recurring role in the PAX-TV series Little Men. Playing Nat, a good kid who falls on hard times and is taken in by Jo Bhaer, who runs a boarding school in the country, Trevor shared a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a TV Series with four of the other young actors in the show.
When the series came to a close after two seasons, Blumas was one of Canada's most in-demand teen actors, with roles in TV movies such as ABC's Switching Goals (1999) starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen; Virtual Mom (2000) starring Sheila McCarthy; ABC's Inside the Osmonds (2001) in which he played Jimmy Osmond; USA-TV's Jane Doe (2001) starring Rob Lowe, Court TV's Guilt by Association (2002) and CTV's Prom Queen: The Marc Hall Story (2004), about a gay teen who wants to bring his boyfriend to the prom.
Trevor made his feature film debut in The Unsaid (2001) opposite Andy Garcia. Although it won the Audience Award at the Marrakech International Film Festival and was released in theaters in France, Italy, Spain and Argentina, it went straight to video in North America. In his second feature film, Disney's Ice Princess (2005), he played Hayden Panettiere's brother and Michelle Trachtenberg's love interest.
Blumas also appeared on PAX-TV's drama series Twice In a Lifetime, for which he received his third Young Artist Award nomination. Musically talented, Trevor plays a number of instruments, including violin, keyboards, and guitar. In his spare time, he enjoys football, golf, tennis, snowboarding and is a competitive skier. He currently lives in California.
