STERLING KNIGHT

Date of Birth: March 5, 1989

A native of Houston, Knight began his career onstage in location productions of On Golden Pond, Lost in Yonkers, Bye Bye Birdie and The Mad Adventures of Mr. Toad.

Onscreen, he played roles in minor productions before playing Lily's cheating boyfriend on an episode of Hannah Montana. He then played guest roles on The Closer and Grey's Anatomy before making his major feature film debut playing Zac Efron's son in 17 Again (2009). However, he was best known for playing heartthrob Chad Dylan Cooper on the Disney Channel original series Sonny with a Chance from 2009 to 2011.

When the show came to an end (mostly due to star Demi Lovato's problems with substance abuse), he landed a recurring role as Zander on the ABD Family sitcom Melissa & Joey starring Melissa Hart and Joey Lawrence, from 2013 to 2015.

On the big screen, he was able to showcase his talent in the action film Transit (2012) with Jim Caviezel and James Frain, as well as the science fiction drama The Man from Earth: Holocene (2017).

Sterling, who sings and plays guitar, is part of a band called Connecting Channels.
