SCOTT ADSIT

Date of Birth: November 26, 1965

Born in Northbrook, Illinois, Scott Adsit began his career with Chicago's Second City Mainstage from 1994 to 1998. While in Chicago, he landed his first onscreen role in the TV series Early Edition in 1996, first playing a cab driver and then guest starring in further episodes from 1997 to 1998 as Grabowski.

Moving to Los Angeles, Scott appeared in several episodes of the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show with Bob and David in 1998 and made guest appearances on shows such as Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place, Felicity, Friends, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Allie McBeal and CSI: Miami, but it was his regular role as producer Pete Hornberger on the NBC-TV sitcom 30 Rock in 2006, that brought him fame.

On the big screen, he's played minor roles in The Italian Job (2003), The Terminal (2004), Without a Paddle (2004) and more recently, We’re the Millers (2013). He also provided the voice of the lead character Baymax in Disney’s 2014 animated blockbuster, Big Hero 6.

Besides being a member of the Second City Mainstage in Chicago, Scott performs regularly at the Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC. He produces, writes, directs and performs on Moral Orel, a stop-motion animation show on the Adult Swim network, and starred alongside Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy in the film St. Vincent (2014).

He is also immortalized in the Marvel comics as a Level 6 Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the Deadpool series.
