Sara Waisglass was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Tessa and Jeff Waisglass.
She began her professional acting career at the age of nine with her first television appearance on The Jane Show (2007). The following year, she was cast in her first film role Afterwards (2008). She continued acting with a role on the television show Overruled! (2009-2010) as Jordy Cooper.
While attending Earl Haig Secondary School, Sara was cast in a starring role on the popular TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation (2013-2015) as Frankie Hollingsworth, for which she received a 2016 Young Entertainers Award for Best Recurring Young Actress.
Sara is most recognized for her role on the hit Netflix series Ginny & Georgia as Maxine Baxter (2021-2023).
She has also made guest appereances on the TV series The Good Doctor (2017), Suits (2018), and Hollie Hobbie (2018-2022).
She is also a graduate of York University, with a degree in screenwriting.
Recently, she played a lead role in the Canadian movie Suze (2024) alongside Michaela Watkins and Charlie Gillespie.
In her spare time, Sara enjoys working out and writing scripts, music and poetry,
